Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohler) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our Service Writers are responsible for:
- Assisting customers by phone or at the counter by providing excellent customer service
- Assisting customers with determining proper parts needed for their equipment
- Checking out/in loaner, and rental units
- Entering detailed work orders into the computer system
- Calling customers with repair quotes
- Calling customers for equipment pick up after serviced
- Entering billing of shop jobs/parts orders into computer system
- Entering and update work order status’
- Scheduling deliveries/pick up of equipment
- Providing quality control to the repair process
- Assisting in loading/unloading of service units

Requirements
- Conforms with the core values of BPS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 18+ years of age
- Prior warranty experience a plus
- Able to work independently
- Must have a patient and calm demeanor
- Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
