Our Service Technicians are responsible for:
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues on construction equipment
- Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive service
- Repairing or replacing defective components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Troubleshooting equipment failures using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
- Completing service reports, work orders, and maintenance records accurately
- Performing field service repairs at customer jobsites when required
- Testing equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
- Following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Communicating repair needs, timelines, and recommendations to supervisors or customers
- Participating in a 24/7 emergency on-call service for our customers
- Must own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the Company or purchased via tool allowance

Requirements
- Conforms with the core values of BPS
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of experience servicing construction or heavy equipment (preferred)
- 18+ years of age
- DOT Medical Card
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus (if applicable)
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
- Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
Salary is based on skills and experience.
