Paid Media Strategist

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist to serve as the primary liaison

between our internal Marketing/Creative team and our external Digital Marketing and

Incrementality agencies. This role ensures paid media strategy, execution, performance

reporting, and optimization align with business objectives, brand standards, and revenue goals.

The ideal candidate understands paid media platforms, performance metrics, incrementality

testing, and campaign strategy, and can translate business priorities into actionable direction for

agency partners while holding them accountable to results.


EXPERIENCE/IDEAL CANIDATE

1. 3–6+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital advertising

2. Experience working directly with or within a digital marketing/ad buying agency

3. Strong understanding of paid media platforms, including but not limited to: Google Ads (Search,

PMax, YouTube), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Out of

Home (OOH)

4. Basic understanding of incrementality testing as it pertains to channel spend and efficiencies with

KPIs

5. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta, and other data visualization

platforms

6. Strong analytical and reporting skills

7. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

8. Excellent communication and presentation skills

9. Experience working within apparel verticals


THIS HIRE IS EXPECTED TO...

● Agency Management & Liaison:

1. Serve as the main point of contact between internal Marketing/Creative team

and the agencies

2. Translate company goals, promotions, and brand priorities into clear campaign

briefs

3. Review and approve media plans, targeting strategies, budgets, and creative

recommendations

4. Ensure agency deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with KPIs

5. Facilitate regular performance meetings and strategic planning sessions with

internal and external teams

● Paid Media Strategy & Oversight:

1. Collaborate on strategy across platforms including:

1. Google Ads (Search, PMax, YouTube)

2. Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

3. LinkedIn

4. TikTok

5. TikTok Shop

6. Amazon

7. Out of Home (OOH)

8. And others...

2. Evaluate audience targeting based off of the company's three persona pillars,

bidding strategies, and campaign structures

3. Ensure tracking, attribution, and conversion goals are properly implemented

4. Identify new channel opportunities and test initiatives

● Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

1. Collaborate with Incrementality agency on testing outcomes to implement with

Digital Marketing agency

2. Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable

recommendations

3. Monitor KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, CTR, MER, conversion rate, and

revenue contribution

4. Ensure budget pacing and allocation align with performance goals

5. Validate reporting accuracy and ensure transparency from agency partners

● Cross-Functional Collaboration:


1. Partner with Marketing/Creative, Brand Partnerships, Sales, and E-commerce

teams to align messaging and offers

2. Provide paid media insights to inform broader marketing strategy to

stakeholders and internal teams

3. Support campaign launches, seasonal promotions, and product releases

● Reporting & Communication

1. Prepare executive-level performance summaries to present to CEOs and

Marketing Director

2. Present insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership while owning the

feedback and implementing leadership asks

3. Communicate performance results in clear, business-focused language
