Controller – BURLEBO

Full-Time 

We’re seeking a Controller to build out and own our internal accounting function. This is a high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, brings accounting rigor, and wants to help shape the financial backbone of a bold, expanding brand.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations: A/R, A/P, GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  
  
  
• Develop scalable systems, processes, and internal controls to support rapid growth and multi-channel operations (DTC, wholesale, retail)
  
  
  
• Oversee payroll, tax compliance, and ensure alignment with state/federal regulations
  
  
  
• Manage cash flow reporting, forecasting, and budgeting in coordination with leadership
  
  
  
• Support year-end audit and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  
  
  
• Evaluate and implement accounting software/tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  
  
  
• 5+ years of accounting experience; 2+ years in a leadership or controller role
  
  
  
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products preferred
  
  
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and financial reporting
  
  
  
• Hands-on, resourceful, and ready to lead accounting during a period of high growth
  
  
  
• Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment (we move fast!)
