About the role

Our philosophy for partnerships is that they must create value for our customers, other partners, and our company. We drive business with and through our partners by working closely together for the benefit of all. The channel team serves to educate and enable our partners to represent, sell and in some cases implement Elevar solutions.  

The Technology Partner Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with technology companies, aiming to leverage their products and services to drive business growth by identifying meaningful joint solutions, creating and executing co-market opportunities, and ultimately maximizing revenue generation through these partnerships.   

There are two categories of tech partners for Elevar: Integration and Marketing. As the name implies, Integration Tech Partners are appropriate for a direct API integration with Elevar. Marketing Tech Partners are important to Elevar in that they provide complimentary services and technology for our clients and serve an important role in the Elevar ecosystem but do not require an API integration.  

Where you'll work

This is a remote-friendly role with flexibility to work from home. Ideal candidates are located in Central or Eastern Time Zone, with occasional travel to Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. Candidates outside this area will be considered for the right fit.

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Identifying and recruiting technology partners:  
  • Researching and identifying potential technology partners that align with the company's strategic goals and market needs    
  • Work jointly with solutions engineering to identify if a partner is appropriate for a technical integration or best served as a marketing partnership (without an integration) 
  • Relationship building:  
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner companies   
  • Developing joint go-to-market strategies:   
  • Create go-to-market plans with a portfolio of partners that drives partner-sourced pipeline and contributes to the overall revenue goals of Elevar 
  • Technical integration:  
  • In collaboration with a solutions engineer, oversee the technical integration of partner solutions with Elevar, ensuring the highest value and seamless functionality for customers  
  • Partner enablement:  
  • Ensure partners understand are able to speak about Elevar’s value to prospects 
  • Sales pipeline management:  
  • Determine best ways to capture and track referrals from tech partners  
  • Manage the pipeline of tech partner referrals and help with the sales process as necessary 
  • Performance tracking and analysis:  
  • Monitoring partner performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and adjusting partnership strategies as needed 
  • Manage partner commissions, deal registration, and reporting for assigned partners 
  • Cross-functional collaboration:  
  • Working closely with internal teams like sales, marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure alignment and smooth execution of partnership initiatives 
  • Collaborate with Elevar marketing and product team to drive lead gen programs that include tech partners 
  • Contribute to partner communication activities such as newsletters, social engagement, and webinars  
  • Build a solid understanding of Elevar products and strategy to properly engage partners and help them succeed 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience as an alliance/partner manager at a SaaS company or similar sales experience 
  • SaaS sales experience desired 
  • Excellence in communication, collaboration, and service 
  • Thrives in an environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit and being a self-starter 
  • Track record of success building partnerships that deliver proven value to the business 
  • Technical proficiency to understand product integrations and APIs 
  • Negotiation skills to secure mutually beneficial partner relationships 
  • Comfortable working remotely (we are a remote first company) 
  • BS/BA degree required

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.

Compensation

The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $120,000 to $140,000 USD.

 

For candidates applying from other countries, salaries will be equivalent and competitive within local markets, reflecting each nation's cost of living and customary compensation standards.

 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.
