About the role
Elevar is hiring a VP of Marketing & Growth to own everything we do to attract, convert, and activate new customers. This is a high-leverage leadership role for someone who can operate across paid, content, influencer, product marketing, partnerships, and CRO — and move fast doing it.

You’ll manage a small but mighty team, plug in tightly with Sales and Partnerships, and be directly accountable for growing top-of-funnel leads and trials. You’ll also shape how Elevar shows up in the market — from positioning to distribution — to ensure we’re seen as the leader in server-side tracking and attribution for ecommerce.


We don’t want old-school marketing. We want velocity, experimentation, influence, and AI-driven execution. You’ll know how to mix strategy with do-it-yourself muscle to test, learn, and scale what works.

Where you'll work

This is a remote-friendly role.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead Elevar’s end-to-end marketing strategy and execution — spanning paid media, content, SEO, influencers, events, partnerships, product launches, and brand building.
  • Build and scale a high-performing marketing team, currently including a Brand/Content Marketer and a Product Marketing Manager — and grow the team as our ambitions expand.
  • Fuel pipeline growth by launching efficient, scalable campaigns that generate qualified leads and drive product trials in support of revenue goals.
  • Position Elevar as the clear category leader in tracking, data enrichment, and attribution — turning market perception into momentum.
  • Partner across GTM with Sales and Tech/Agency Partnerships to align on integrated campaigns, joint marketing efforts, and partner enablement.
  • Push boundaries with bold, modern tactics — leveraging AI tools, creator influence, and emerging distribution channels to maximize reach and outmaneuver bigger players.

  • You have a sharp eye for impact. You know what actually moves the needle and when to dive in yourself vs. empower others.
  • You flex seamlessly between doer and strategist. One hour you’re writing a creative brief or launching an experiment, the next you're syncing with sales or mapping long-term growth strategy.
  • You love scrappy, high-velocity experimentation — but you’re just as committed to building a sustainable, scalable growth engine.

  • Have experience marketing to Shopify merchants or DTC brands — you understand their mindset, challenges, and what gets their attention.
  • Bring social influence to the table — whether through your own presence or a strong network, you know how to amplify ideas and drive engagement.
  • Are comfortable in the numbers — fluent in tools like HubSpot, GA4, and ad platforms, with a solid grasp of marketing ops and performance analytics.
  • Understand technical, data-driven environments — especially if you’re familiar with server-side tagging, data pipelines, or tracking infrastructure.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.

Compensation

The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $170,000 to $200,000.

 

For candidates applying from other countries, salaries will be equivalent and competitive within local markets, reflecting each nation's cost of living and customary compensation standards.

 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan.
