About the role

We're seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join Buxton, a company revolutionizing how organizations achieve growth through data-driven insights and innovative technology solutions. In this role, you'll drive Buxton's success by creating new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and contributing to the alignment of sales and marketing strategies.

This is an in-person role that offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with our dynamic team and immerse yourself in our vibrant company culture in Fort Worth, TX.

What you'll do

  • Pipeline Generation – Identify and create sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead responses, and participation in events.
  • Sales Outreach – Utilize best practices in sales development across multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Performance Achievement – Meet outreach, meeting scheduling, and qualified opportunity targets.
  • Process Improvement – Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Technology Utilization – Leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
  • Reporting – Provide regular updates on lead generation, conversion rates, and overall performance metrics.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as an outbound SaaS BDR, door-to-door salesperson, or recruiter with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong self-motivation and persistence to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Comfortable engaging with potential clients across various mediums, with a preference for a call-first approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.

Compensation

The Targeted Base Salary Range for candidates located in the U.S. is $55,000 to $65,000.

 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and a candidate’s home base. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation in addition to base pay may be provided as part of a total compensation package, including eligibility to participate in a bonus plan and commission based compensation for sales roles.
