The BDR Team Lead will serve as a player-coach within Buxton by Audiense’s growing sales organization. This individual will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, while continuing to contribute personally to pipeline generation. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with hands-on sales execution, setting the standard for performance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team goals.
- Drive daily activity management, ensuring the team executes effectively on outreach, follow-ups, and meeting scheduling.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing to align on campaign strategy and lead quality.
- Monitor KPIs and pipeline metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership on team coaching sessions focused on messaging, objection handling, and effective prospecting strategies.
Player Responsibilities
- Personally prospect, qualify, and set meetings that result in new business opportunities for Buxton.
- Serve as the top example of performance excellence through consistent activity levels, messaging quality, and follow-through.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of Buxton’s value proposition, solutions, and target markets to effectively communicate with prospects.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role; prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding pipeline generation or meeting-setting goals.
- Strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., SalesLoft, or Gong Engage).
- Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and motivated by achieving team and individual success.
Performance Metrics
- Team attainment of meetings attended quota.
- Individual contribution to 50% of a BDRs meetings attended goal.
- Conversion rate from lead to meeting and meeting to opportunity.
- Team retention and engagement metrics.

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Buxton - FW)
