About the role

Are you passionate about working with children? Do you want to make life-changing differences in the life of a child?

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing ABA therapy in the home. Your job is to be an agent of positive change in the life of a child who can be experiencing language delays and/or behavioral challenges. As the

most critical member of the child’s therapy team, you will work alongside your clinical supervisor to bring about profound change in the lives of children with autism.


What you'll do

  • Providing high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism 3 – 5 days per week.
  • Actively participate in meetings and trainings
  • Implement Feedback in the Moment from Clinical Supervisors
  • Bringing a positive, creative, energetic and compassionate attitude to each treatment session
  • Being punctual and responsible
  • Collect Data throughout treatment sessions
  • Complete daily session treatment notes according to company standards
  • Maintain the safety and dignity of the children being treated

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a committed and compassionate person with a strong desire of helping children and families
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Must be reliable, consistent and have a strong work ethic
  • Must have a High School Diploma
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • Must be able to pass a State and Federal Background Check
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays strongly preferred
  • Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed
  • Possess strong attention to detail for data collection
  • Organized, flexible, able to follow instructive guidance and willing to take constructive feedback
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain client confidentiality
  • Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references
  • Comfortable using technology

The pay range for this role is:

20 - 25 USD per hour (Glen Burnie, Maryland)

20 - 25 USD per hour (Brooklyn Park, Maryland)

20 - 25 USD per hour (Pikesville, Maryland)

20 - 25 USD per hour (Hyattsville, Maryland)

20 - 25 USD per hour (Clinton, Maryland)
