You’re a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who finds satisfaction in clean reconciliations, accurate reporting, and a well-organized close. You know your debits from your credits, but you also know how to communicate clearly with non-finance folks. You like structure—but not rigidity—and you're at your best in an environment where collaboration, flexibility, and a bit of personality are all part of the job.

You’re confident with U.S. GAAP, experienced in month-end tasks, and comfortable juggling payroll support, commissions, and compliance. You take ownership of your work, but you're never above jumping in to help the team or improve a process.

What You’ll Do

• Own parts of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Prepare accurate management accounts in line with U.S. GAAP
• Calculate group commissions and assist with U.S. payroll and contractor payments
• Handle sales tax filings and ensure state compliance
• Support timesheet tracking, billing, and payments for contractors
• Assist with internal and external audits through thorough documentation
• Help refine processes and improve finance efficiency
• Keep financial records organized and accurate—your spreadsheets are a work of art

What You Bring

• 4+ years accounting experience with U.S. companies or CPA firm clients
• Skilled in management accounts and month-end close
• Accounting/Finance degree or professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.)
• Proficient with accounting software and digital tools
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi-state sales tax, and compliance
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with a big-picture mindset
• Self-starter who knows when to ask questions and take initiative
• Confident communicator who welcomes new ideas
• Proactive, curious, and a team player who enjoys a good laugh
