About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager who’s not just strategic—but ready to get in the trenches. This is a fully hands-on role ideal for someone with startup experience who knows how to build, fix, and scale HR operations in a fast-moving environment. You’ll own the full employee lifecycle in our Mexico-based team: onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance. You’ll also be the internal go-to for resolving people challenges, managing our talent bench, and ensuring team members are fully utilized and supported. If you’ve worn multiple hats in HR and love creating clarity in chaos, this one’s for you.

What You'll Do

  • Run onboarding, offboarding, and ensure labor law compliance
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits, and documentation
  • Lead performance check-ins and support client-facing HR needs
  • Manage internal bench and support quick reassignments
  • Evaluate pay/benefits and support growth planning
  • Build simple, repeatable HR processes and SOPs

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in HR, ideally in dynamic or client-facing teams
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law & payroll
  • Comfortable managing performance issues directly
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Spanish fluency; English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of other HR functions.
  • Experience with an ATS and project management tools such as Asana.
