The Role
We're seeking an IT Support Specialist who can be the backbone of our IT operations in Denver as well as remote employees. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our team productive and equipped with the right tools to serve thousands of outdoor enthusiasts and property owners across North America.
In this role, you'll be part technician, part problem-solver, and part data collector. You'll provision systems for new team members, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure our desktop environment stays secure, and support our Service Delivery team with entry-level infrastructure tasks.
What You'll Do
Keep Our Team Running Smoothly
- Provide responsive helpdesk support, diagnosing and resolving employee tech issues as they arise
- Provision and deprovision applications for new hires, terminations, and role changes in alignment with compliance requirements
- Recommend and provision hardware based on role requirements and user needs
- Own hardware lifecycle and manage inventory for all employees and offices, including computers, peripherals, and other technology
- Create exceptional onboarding experiences by ensuring new hires have everything they need on day one
- Manage technology and access for Denver office, including ongoing maintenance and set up of new systems, devices, and networks
Maintain Security and Compliance
- Manage desktop security across the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data gathering during SOC audits and compliance testing
- Ensure all systems and access controls meet our security standards
- Track and maintain IT asset inventory with proper tagging and documentation
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Document common issues and create self-service resources for the team
- Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and improve user experience
- Stay current on security best practices and emerging technologies
- Contribute ideas to enhance our IT infrastructure and support model
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- 1-2 years of IT support or help desk experience
- Hands-on experience with provisioning user accounts and managing access controls
- Familiarity with macOS desktop environments
- Experience with endpoint security solutions such as CrowdStrike
- Experience managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
- Knowledge of VPN solutions and remote access technologies
- Experience supporting compliance requirements (SOC 2, security audits, etc.)
- Bonus: Exposure to AWS, Terraform, or DevOps practices
Technical Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware, software, and network issues
- Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell is a plus)
- Comfortable learning new technologies and tools independently
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you can explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy for users of all technical levels
- Ability to prioritize competing requests and manage your time effectively
- Collaborative approach and willingness to ask questions when needed
- Ability to occasionally work nights and/or weekends if urgent business needs arise

Compensation and Benefits
- Total compensation: $55,000-$60,000
