About the role

Cardamom Health is partnering with healthcare organizations to identify experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) professionals for both contract and permanent opportunities supporting revenue cycle optimization and enhancement initiatives.

These roles may involve discovery and workflow analysis, system enhancements, build, testing, implementation support, revenue cycle optimization, claims management, and ongoing application support. Candidates may also partner closely with operational leaders and end users to evaluate workflows, troubleshoot denials and claim edits, support billing processes, and drive continuous system improvements through enhancements and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize Epic PB workflows
• Support system enhancements, configuration, and build activities
• Participate in testing and implementation efforts
• Collaborate with operational and technical stakeholders to improve revenue cycle processes

• Support claims processing, billing operations, and reimbursement initiatives
• Investigate and resolve denials, claim edits, and workflow challenges

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience with:

• Epic Professional Billing (PB) - Active certification required*
• Claims processing and claim edits
• Denials management
• Charge capture workflows
• Revenue cycle optimization
• SBO (Single Billing Office) workflows preferred
