Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented System Administrator to join the Global Security and Compliance & IT organization, four to five days a week in our office in West Midtown, Atlanta, reporting to the Information Security Manager. In this role, the System Administrator will provide back-office administration in an Office365 environment using Okta for IAM, and end-user support. Supported hardware will include both Windows and macOS devices. In addition, this individual requires strong technical expertise, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve systems and user experience. The successful candidate will be able to see the bigger picture and identify areas for improvement, drive projects through to completion, effectively prioritize their time, and work independently to ensure the organization has the technology tools it needs to succeed.
In this role you get to:
- The System Administrator will be the go-to technical resource for user support and cloud service administration. Key responsibilities include providing technical assistance both in-person and remotely for users on Windows and macOS workstations, assisting with troubleshooting of SaaS applications, fulfilling user hardware/software needs, and taking part in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical issues.
- This individual will also automate user identity lifecycle management and proactively improve IT systems and processes for better efficiency and user experience.
- The System Administrator will enforce security best practices across endpoints and SaaS platforms, monitor system health and performance to ensure compliance with organizational standards, and maintain thorough documentation.
- System Administrator offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to lead core IT operations in a cloud-first startup environment, while delivering excellent service to end-users. This position also has a path to growth into a security role within a company that values internal mobility and continuous improvement, learning, strong ownership, and ambition.
We’re looking for people who have:
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in IT/System Administration, including user support and back-office configuration.
- Comfort commuting to our office in West Midtown, Atlanta four to five days a week.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite (e.g. Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) and identity and access management solutions (preferably Okta) is essential.
- Nice to have: The ideal candidate would bring experience with modern security and automation tools such as familiarity with XDR and SIEM (we use CrowdStrike Falcon and Rapid7) and experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and privacy/compliance standards would also be beneficial in this role, especially if the candidate is interested in taking a role in security. Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Okta, etc.) are also encouraged.
Pssst… you don’t have to check all the boxes to apply!
