The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic, self-driven Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our brand's social presence. This role will transition our social media management from agency to in-house, requiring a versatile professional who can independently execute our entire social strategy while maintaining the authentic voice of our wellness-focused brand. The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Head of Growth and collaborates closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure integrated campaign execution.


This is a full-time hybrid position based in North York, ON. Occasional weekend work may be required for time-sensitive community management and trend response.


About the Role

  • Create Winning Content Strategies - Develop compelling social media strategies across platforms, with focus on Instagram and TikTok, while producing eye-catching photos and viral-worthy videos
  • Drive Platform Growth - Expand our presence on emerging platforms, leverage user-generated content, and stay ahead of trends to maximize engagement
  • Lead Product Launches - Create comprehensive social strategies for new products, from building anticipation with teasers to maintaining post-launch momentum
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders - Work directly with our founder on authentic storytelling and empower employee voices while building strategic influencer relationships
  • Manage Community & Analytics - Foster meaningful audience engagement, track performance metrics, and demonstrate ROI through data-driven decision making
  • Execute Cross-Channel Campaigns - Work seamlessly with the marketing team to plan and implement product launches, seasonal promotions, and integrated campaigns while managing departmental budgets effectively

Who You Are

  • 5 years of social media management experience, preferably in CPG, wellness or natural products
  • A strong professional portfolio showing previous social media campaigns, content creation, and platform growth results
  • Experience managing departmental budgets and tracking ROI for social media initiatives
  • Strong experience with content planning tools, graphic design software, photography, and video editing skills with experience creating engaging short-form content
  • Experience managing influencer relationships and campaigns including directing and editing UGC-style content from external creators
  • Proven success building brand presence on TikTok and emerging social platforms with a strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience developing founder-focused content strategies and employee advocacy programs
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to integrate with broader marketing team objectives
  • Exceptional written communication and brand story-telling abilities

  • Proven track record growing TikTok accounts from early stages\
