OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Strategist, SEM to join our rapidly growing DTC, Customer Strategy Team.
As a Strategist, SEM, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and be encouraged to learn and develop skills both within and beyond your role. You’ll be working surrounded by passionate, high-performing individuals. This role will be responsible for campaign strategy, launch, management, insights, and client/internal communications of assigned accounts to achieve client goals (mainly ROAS and revenue-driven).
The ideal candidate is a flexible team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and wants the opportunity to continually learn and grow.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of experience in Google Shopping/Pmax and paid search, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of advertising principles and campaign management strategies.
- Feed experience
- Experience working with Google/Bing
- Proven track record of driving Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) growth for e-commerce clients
- Proficient in GA4 and Google Ads Editor
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
- *English proficiency required* — must be able to speak and write in the language fluently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Google AdWords or Google Analytics certification
- Experience interfacing with clients regarding paid search strategy and performance
- Track record of using data to craft narratives and drive decision making
- Experience creating reports, presentations, and other customer-facing deliverables
- Intellectual curiosity, with a strong desire to both learn and experiment in a rapidly changing industry
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Background in e-commerce or product-focused advertising
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a book of 15+ small to medium accounts and ensure their overall satisfaction.
- Provide health checks 2x a week and routine optimizations for all accounts
- Complete proactive audits for each account
- Work with the ASDs to support key accounts, supporting with optimizations, budget pacing ad hoc reporting, data pulls and more
- Maintain regular communication with CSMs to address any inquiries, requests, or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Manage new launches of small to medium-sized accounts
- Join and able to speak on client calls as needed as an additional strategy resource
Expectation Overview:
- Possess a thorough understanding of Quartile technology and its capabilities, staying updated on the latest features and advancements in the field.
- Skilled in swiftly immersing into new accounts and providing high-level optimizations and recommendations, whether it involves out-of-office (OOO) coverage or taking over new accounts seamlessly.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage campaigns, implement optimizations and adjustments to enhance performance or address specific client needs effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing Google Analytics to analyze campaign data, derive actionable insights, and inform strategic decisions to drive optimal results.
- Collaborate with Account Strategy Directors (ASDs) to contribute to Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations, providing valuable insights and recommendations under their guidance.
- Lead innovative testing initiatives, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in SEM, and sharing insights with the organization.
