OVERVIEW:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Enterprise Sales Analyst to be the dedicated analytical engine for our Sales Engineering (SE) team. This role is crucial for optimizing our pre-sales process by turning technical audit results and complex data into clear, compelling sales content and actionable insights. T 

 

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical analysis and business strategy, ensuring the SE team has the systems and data required to execute custom projects for prospective Enterprise customers. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field 
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology environment supporting a technical pre-sales team 
  • Technical Proficiency: 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required 
  • Advanced PowerPoint/Presentation Skills (designing executive-ready, high-impact slides) 
  • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM is essential (reporting, dashboard creation, and basic administrative functions) 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus 
  • Key Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical analysis into clear, business-focused conclusions for both sales and executive audiences

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Sales Engineering Data Analysis & Optimization 

  • Analyze Custom Audit Data: Conduct in-depth analysis of data generated from custom technical audits and proofs-of-concept (POCs) performed by the SE team 
  • Develop Performance Benchmarks: Create metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of the SE team's efforts, including the correlation between custom analysis projects and closed-won deals 
  • Analyze & Report on Project Pipeline: Generate weekly and monthly reports on the SE team's project pipeline, capacity, and resource utilization, often tracked by quartile to identify process efficiencies and bottlenecks 
  • Pre-Sales Forecasting: Support the sales forecast process by providing insights into the technical feasibility and projected timelines of large, complex deals based on SE involvement 

Salesforce Support & System Integrity 

  • Serve as the Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Sales Engineering workflow, ensuring the CRM accurately tracks all SE activities, project stages, and data hand-offs 
  • Manage user setup, security, and permissions for the SE team, and assist in configuring custom objects, fields, and automation specifically designed for pre-sales technical analysis 
  • Maintain data quality and integrity related to technical audits and custom data points within Salesforce, ensuring consistency for reporting and executive review 

Technical Content & Organizational Support 

  • Develop Customer-Facing Content: Work with Sales Engineers to transform the findings of successful custom audits and analyses into compelling case studies, executive presentations, and technical battlecards for the sales team 
  • Manage Content Repository: Ensure all final audit reports, analysis templates, and validated proof points are centralized, organized, and easily accessible to the global sales force 
  • Event and Training Support: Coordinate and prepare data-driven materials for sales training sessions, new-hire onboarding, and executive-level events where custom technical analysis is showcased
