OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Financial Leader to direct the company’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, reporting to the CFO. You will interface with Quartile’s internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to key decision makers, and deliver clear reporting and persuasive analysis that will impact the business. You will need to be business and technology savvy, intellectually curious, passionate about data and analysis, a superb communicator, and possess a drive to continually improve the performance of the financial function and the overall business.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ years of corporate finance experience of progressively increasing responsibility. Extensive prior experience managing FP&A responsibilities at a consolidated level is essential.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another analytical discipline. MBA preferred.
· Experience in an enterprise software company, particularly with knowledge of SaaS-based business models and metrics, is strongly preferred.
· Experience in advertising tech and/or e-commerce is preferred.
· Demonstrable business acumen and financial perspective to provide insightful counsel to senior management. Ability to use fact-driven analysis to identify value drivers, issues, and opportunities for improvement across the business.
· A passion for data and analysis, with a desire to drive a metrics-driven culture throughout Quartile. The successful candidate should possess the ability to proactively manage and enhance our financial systems and tools. Experience with a financial planning system (e.g. Vena, Adaptive Planning or similar) is strongly preferred.
· Strong working knowledge of financial accounting concepts is critical.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering board-level reporting and analysis. Able to concisely communicate complex issues, with an actionable focus, to external and internal audiences alike.
· Track record of past success in managing multiple responsibilities and getting things done in the dynamic and relatively unstructured environment of a growth company.
· Able to balance a strong detail orientation with a longer-term, strategic focus.
· Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - proven ability to effectively drive collaborative, cross-functional initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead company-wide financial reporting and planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning), ensuring relevance, accuracy, and actionable insight.
· Partner with business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Strategy and Tech, to develop KPIs, report on progress, and provide analysis and insight into performance.
· Develop and manage Quartile’s business analytics capabilities.
· Foster a continuous improvement mentality toward Quartile’s finance function - identifying and driving initiatives to move our team forward.
· Provide analytical support for ad hoc decision-making (new business models, product investment or M&A cases, operational efficiency initiatives, sales and marketing performance and compensation, and the like).
