About the Role
The Project Manager for the Striping Division is responsible for developing and executing the strategic planning and delivery of assigned striping and pavement marking projects. This position plans, directs, and coordinates activities from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. You will collaborate with leadership, organize field teams, and oversee production to maximize results while promoting Tendit’s culture of compliance, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.


What You Will Do

  • Meet with general contractors and stakeholders onsite to review work plans, schedules, and requirements from project initiation through completion.
  • Document project progress with detailed notes and photos uploaded to the shared drive.
  • Conduct project take-offs, order materials, and maintain inventory control in collaboration with the warehouse manager.
  • Prepare job packs and communicate project expectations to crews, ensuring they have the tools, equipment, PPE, and resources needed.
  • Schedule and dispatch crews; hold daily planning meetings to align on priorities and timelines.
  • Oversee field crews, monitor production rates, and support crew leads in achieving safety and performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, billing details, and daily project reports, including hours, quantities, equipment, and conditions.
  • Utilize Tendit’s PM Tracker tool to monitor project performance, compare estimates to actual field data, and escalate issues or recommendations.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to Tendit’s standardized policies and ASC striping method.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status updates with supporting documentation.
  • Lead project closeout, including quantity verification, billing reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Serve as the field safety officer, ensuring all Tendit and OSHA safety requirements are followed.
  • Represent Tendit as project manager for in-house Prime contracts and as owner’s representative for external projects.
  • Support continual improvement by researching best practices and implementing operational efficiencies.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in construction or pavement marking project management.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Clear and professional communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Broad understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and operational controls.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $87,500, depending on experience.
