About the Role
 
The AR/AP Clerk is responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions within the organization. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and credits. 
 
What You Will Do: 
 
Accounts Receivable:
  • Process customer invoices and credit notes.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Prepare and send customer statements.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and disputes regarding invoices and payments.
  • Assist in the collection of overdue payments.
  • Process and record payments received, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments
  • Prepare reports on accounts receivable status for management review
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining documentation
 
Accounts Payable:
  • Verify and process vendor invoices for payment.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receive reports.
  • Prepare and process checks or electronic payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and update payment information.
  • Resolve vendor inquiries and disputes regarding payments.
 
 
 What You Will Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite – preferred) 
  • Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 hourly, depending on experience.
