About the Role
 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fence Technician 1 to join our team. As a Fence Technician 1, you will install and repair various fences for residential and commercial properties. This hands-on position requires proficiency in masonry, carpentry, and landscape maintenance.
 
What You Will Do: 
  • Operation of company vehicles transporting fencing materials to job sites.
  • Perform loading and unloading of fencing materials, ensuring materials are correctly accounted for, loads secured, and materials are not damaged during transportation.
  • Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of company vehicles, requesting repairs and maintenance through the company's online reporting system.
  • Coordination with the team supervisor on each work order, ensuring the accuracy of each project performed.
  • Cleaning of the sweeper and auxiliary equipment as necessary.
  • Performing snow removal duties on routes designated by the supervisor
  • Additional Duties as assigned.
 
What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • A current & valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and three years of driving experience is required; CDL is a plus.
  • Class A CDL is preferred (No air brake endorsement required)
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with unexpected occurrences and delays.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Available for Flexible scheduling. Our work schedules and start times vary with the weather. 
  • Fluent English and Spanish speaking ability is preferred.
  • A willingness to come to work every day and find ways to improve from the previous day.
 
Physical Requirements: 
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, extreme noise, odors, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work off the ground
  • Will require driving between company locations.
  • Overnight travel- 10% or less

Compensation for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 hourly, depending on experience.
