Position Summary:

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and develop skills in multiple factions of the finance function. A successful candidate will show attention to detail, meet deadlines, and have an attitude of teamwork, positivity, and flexibility based on the needs of the company, within the finance department. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop skills

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain internal financial reports and create journal entries as assigned
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and other month end duties as assigned
• Perform Accounts Receivable tasks including billing, collections and reconciliations
• Execute Accounts Payable duties including coding invoices and credit card transaction coding
• Maintain Annual Reports and Registered Agents for all states
• File and Record Sales Tax Payments
• Cross train and remain flexible between departments as needs per department change throughout the year
• Other Duties as Assigned

Competencies:

• Highly Competent in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, SumIF, Data Manipulation)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Collaborate with other departments
• Understanding of financial information and the ability to relay the information

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail
• Excel skills are a must
• Works well in a fast paced environment
• Experience with many different software packages

Preferred education and experience:

• College Degree or Professional Equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience
