Upper Crust Food Service began with a vision to solve a problem that many Fraternity and Sorority houses face.  That problem is a lack of consistency and professionalism in the kitchen.  With a focus on great food and personal service, we’ve remained true to our roots. Today, the chefs of Upper Crust Food Service prepare tens of thousands of meals weekly for students across the country.

About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Utility team member to join our Operations department. This is an hourly, part-time position where you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen to ensure smooth daily operations. What You'll Do

  • Assist with washing, drying, and organizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Support the kitchen team by performing basic food preparation tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and restock kitchen supplies, including cleaning products and utensils.
  • Properly dispose of waste and manage kitchen recycling programs.
  • Assist in deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, walls, and equipment on a scheduled basis.
  • Work collaboratively with all kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and operations.


Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to follow all safety protocols and guidelines in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
