Inventory Specialist

Today, the chefs of Upper Crust Food Service prepare tens of thousands of meals weekly for students across the country.

  • Work with the company’s vendors
  • Oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed
  • Evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and update inventory as needed
  • Negotiate vendor contracts in order to maximize profit
  • Ability to communicate effectively, utilizing both verbal and writing skills. 
  • Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, knowledge of food safety measures and have the ability to follow instructions.
  • Manage inventory in proprietary and third party systems.
  • Support Operations with regard to inventory availability, inventory tracking and inventory movement.
  • Leverage data and systems to improve the company’s inventory performance

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • At least 1 year of experience with inventory control

The pay range for this role is:

19 - 20 USD per hour (Kappa Alpha Theta - Florida)
