A thriving, paperless and unique LGBT health and wellness practice in West Hollywood is looking for a medical assistant to support the current nursing and medical provider team.

We are seeking a seasoned medical assistant with 3+ years of medical assistant experience with a demonstrated ability to manage an office. You should have experience assisting providers with procedures and visits, IV management, injections, helping patients check-in and out, perform EKG's, handle phones, schedule appointments, and more.

Please be comfortable hitting the ground running and comfortable working with multiple providers. 



About the role

  •  You'll need to quickly demonstrate understanding of our:

    • EHR (drChrono--it's fine if you don't have experience in this particular EHR, but if you've encountered others, you'll pick it up quickly)
    • Telephone system
    • Samples and medications
    • Ability to organize office and maintain office flow

    Clinics are open and looking to staff primarily M-S, 8AM-8PM, with hours and days varying.

Job type

  • Full-time

  • Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Qualifications

  • License/Certification:

    • BLS Certification (Preferred)
    • Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
    • starting and stopping IV: 3 years (Preferred)
    • medical assistant: 5 years (Preferred)
    • office management: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Ability to Relocate:


    • West Hollywood, CA 90046: Relocate before starting work (Required)
