About the role

This is a high-impact role focused on improving the company’s cash flow through the proactive collection of outstanding debts. As a Collections Analyst, you’ll be responsible for managing account receivables, identifying overdue accounts, and engaging directly with customers to ensure timely payments. You’ll contribute to a data-driven collections process that balances operational efficiency with customer satisfaction, using analytical tools and bilingual communication skills to negotiate effectively and update stakeholders on collection progress.


What you'll do

  • Account monitoring to identify overdue payments 
  • Find and contact debtors to arrange debt payments 
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on collection activity 
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts  
  • Research historical data for each debt or invoice  
  • Find and contact customers to inquire about their overdue payments  
  • Take steps to encourage timely debt payment 
  • Update account status records and collection efforts
  • Report on collection activity and the status of accounts receivable

Qualifications

  • 1+ years proven experience as a collections specialist or similar position  
  • Knowledge of collecting procedures and techniques 
  • English/Spanish (written and oral)  
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel  
  • Comfortable working with goals  
  • Patience and ability to handle stress  
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)  
  • Negotiation skills Problem-solving skills  
  • Proactive 
  • Excellent customer service attitude
