About You

About the role

• As Compliance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring CargoSprint adheres to its internal policies and industry standards. You’ll join our Compliance team, reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, and will be responsible for leading and managing internal and external audits, enhancing audit programs, and supporting compliance team initiatives. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote) based in Guadalajara, Mexico. 

What you'll do

• Manage internal and external audits end-to-end 

• Design, implement, and improve the company’s audit program and compliance workflows 

• Build and maintain an internal audit calendar aligned with business and regulatory priorities 

• Review and assess internal controls, policies, and procedures for vulnerabilities 

• Create reports and present audit results to technical and non-technical audiences, including the executive team 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans 

• Support vendor management by reviewing third-party audit reports and conducting assessments 

• Assist in internal risk assessments and track compliance across multiple frameworks  

• Maintain documentation and evidence repositories for compliance audits 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; ideally in Business Administration, Compliance, Finance, or a related field 

• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management 

• Strong knowledge of key regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., FCPA, SOC2, PCI DSS) 

• Experience designing scalable audit programs and improving internal processes 

• Familiarity with compliance software and documentation tools 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills 

• High ethical judgment and attention to detail 

• Ability to work in dynamic, start-up mode environment 

• Certifications in compliance or auditing are preferred but not required 

• Fluent in English and Spanish
