CNO Analyst/Programmer I

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced CNO Analyst Programmer I to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing complex cyber capabilities for network operations, and supporting the team with analytic and programming expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cyber network operations and deep technical knowledge of programming, with the ability to work in a high-security, fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
The Level 1 CNO Analyst/Programmer possesses strong programming skills in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python, and is adept at designing and developing end-to-end data flow and tasking for custom CNO tools. This role includes authoring technical documentation and participating in design, code, and software readiness reviews to ensure alignment with Government software development protocols. Additionally, the Level 1 CNO Analyst/Programmer contributes to technical presentations on assigned projects, showcasing a collaborative approach to enhancing the development and deployment of cybersecurity solutions.
1. Design, implement, and test software components for cyber network operations. Build and maintain secure software systems in support of mission-critical projects.
2. Develop and debug code in various programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Assembly to support network operations and cybersecurity objectives.
3. Analyze network data, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop methods to exploit or secure those vulnerabilities.
4. Provide support for real-time incident response by developing tools and scripts to detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
5. Prepare clear and concise documentation for technical processes and code to maintain compliance with security policies and enhance collaboration.
6. Work closely with cyber analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts and meet mission objectives. Engage with cross-functional teams to identify and address complex technical challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Assembly. Experience with reverse engineering, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis is preferred.
2. Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cyber defense strategies. Familiarity with exploitation frameworks and cybersecurity tools.
3. Ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and develop innovative solutions.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Advanced certifications in cybersecurity, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or similar.
6. Experience working in a classified, high-security environment and adhering to strict data handling procedures.
7. Demonstrated experience in vulnerability research and exploit development
