Position Summary: The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. This role involves managing field staff, monitoring job progress and ensuring quality control throughout all phases of the project. The Field Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between field crews and Construction Coordinators or Managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Will supervise and direct field crews to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
· Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities and monitor job progress to meet deadlines.
· Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and quality standards.
· Provide training, guidance, and support to field staff ensuring proper protocols and procedures are followed.
· Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe work environment.
· Assist with inventory management, ensuring tools, materials and equipment are properly maintained.
· Participate in meetings with management to provide project updates and discuss operational improvements
· Must be willing to perform any task on the job site.
· Ad hoc- projects, other duties assigned.
· Must wear required uniforms and PPE at all times.,
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
· Previous experience in a supervisory role within the telecommunications or construction industry.
· Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Valid CDL driver license with a clean driving record.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends based on project or business need.
Environmental and Physical Demands:
This position will be exposed to outdoor elements to include but not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, sleet, wind, uneven terrain, road noise and traffic. Will routinely work around heavy equipment and tools with moving mechanical parts. This position requires lifting of materials in excess of 50lbs.
