What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum that inspires curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues that support student success and well-being.
  • Incorporate inclusive teaching practices that honor diverse perspectives and identities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, assessment, and professional initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the school community through advisory, co-curriculars, and participation in school-wide events.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to Catlin Gabel’s values
  • Experience teaching in a classroom setting, with expertise in subject matter and pedagogy.
  • Ability to design student-centered, inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and respect in a diverse community.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
  • Advanced degree or teaching credential preferred, though not always required.
