Catlin Gabel School in Portland, Oregon is looking for a passionate and experienced Varsity Volleyball Coach - Girls to lead our team for the Fall 2026 Season!

About the role

At Catlin Gabel, coaches play a vital role in fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As a Coach, you will provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring a positive and growth-oriented experience for student-athletes. This role involves close collaboration with staff, administration, and the athletic department to support the school's mission and values.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and supervise a team of student athletes and assistant coach(es) (if applicable).
• Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Design and implement an effective program for schedules for practices, games, and athletic events.
• Support the effective maintenance of athletic facilities and equipment.
• Assist in managing uniform inventory for teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years of teaching, coaching, athletic experience preferred.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• NFHS/OSAA Coaches Certifications.
• Current First Aid/CPR Card.
• Reliable form of transportation to attend athletics events within Portland metro area.
