Job Purpose

 

We are looking for a Sales / Solutions Engineer (SE) with Security, Enterprise Networking, Data Center, and / or Cloud background. This role is a customer-focused technical sales professional who ensures that technical information and guidance is provided to the customer. You will partner with your Account Managers in a pre-sales technical function, showcasing CBTS solutions, providing customer presentations, performing technical demonstrations, crafting BoM’s, and assisting with proof-of-concept activities. CBTS SE’s are expected to partner, consult, influence and design agnostic solutions to allow the customer to meet their desired outcomes. The ideal candidate should have exceptional interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills, along with a passion for learning and problem solving.

 

 

Essential Functions

  • 7+ years’ experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar pre-sales role supporting the sale of security, networking and / or cloud solutions to enterprise accounts
  • Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
  • Proven ability to build trust with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong sense of curiosity and passion around technology and explaining and showing new technology platforms and concepts to customers
  • Experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients
  • Experience in planning sales strategies, developing proposals, delivering customer presentations and demonstrations to close business

·       Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

The pay range for this role is:

102,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Hybrid (Grand Rapids, Michigan, US))
