Job Purpose:

 

This role will be critical in ensuring that our business operates efficiently and cost-effectively by optimizing existing contracts, negotiating the best deals, and implementing best-in-class processes and systems. As the primary lead for this initiative, you will drive strategic sourcing and contract management practices from the ground up, including creating processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaborating with senior leadership to implement and drive change.


The ideal candidate will be a strong negotiator with a deep understanding of contract management, vendor relations, and procurement processes. This is a senior-level position that will have a significant impact on the company's efficiency, cost management, and vendor relationships.



Essential Functions:

  • Contract Management & Optimization: Lead the review, cleanup, and management of existing contractor, real estate, and facilities contracts to ensure alignment with company goals and operational efficiency.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions across all contract types, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business objectives. Drive cost savings and improve contract terms wherever possible.
  • Process Implementation: Develop, document, and implement a comprehensive contract management program, including creating detailed processes and SOPs to streamline and standardize contract handling across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to drive the sourcing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and priorities. Act as a trusted advisor on contract-related matters and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Contractor Relationship Management: Oversee vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring that performance is consistent with contract terms and resolve any issues related to contract fulfillment.
  • Real Estate & Facilities Contracts: Take charge of managing real estate and facilities contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, and optimizing cost structures where possible.
  • Efficiency & Compliance: Ensure that all contracts comply with internal policies, regulations, and applicable laws. Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives by working with key internal stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption and integration of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate contract performance and work to continuously improve processes, ensuring that the organization’s contract management system remains efficient, scalable, and aligned with the company’s evolving needs.


Education


·       Business, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Proven track record of strong contract negotiation skills and achieving favorable terms and cost savings.
  • Experience managing real estate, facilities, and contractor contracts within a corporate environment.
  • Skilled in developing, documenting, and implementing scalable processes and SOPs for contract management.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management best practices.
  • Ability to drive change and influence senior leaders to implement new strategies, processes, and programs across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize vendor agreements.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to analyze complex contracts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and procurement.
