Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and strategically minded FP&A Manager with a strong foundation in finance and exceptional administrative and project management skills. This role is responsible for guiding a team of financial analysts through the end-to-end Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) cycle while managing operational workflows, timelines, and cross-functional initiatives.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing financial data, communicating effectively within the finance department as well as inter-departmentally, reviewing and refining executive-facing presentations, coordinating projects, preparing reports, and setting priorities to keep a high-performing finance team aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

FP&A Leadership & Financial Oversight

  • Lead the planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across the organization, setting timelines and ensuring accountability while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of PowerPoint presentations intended for executive leadership, providing structure, clarity, and a compelling financial narrative.
  • Develop and maintain consistent monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for both business unit leaders and executive leadership, ensuring alignment on performance, trends, and insights.
  • Work with peers within the Finance Department to manage the Company’s capital budget, and report to business leaders regarding variances to Budget.

Team & Workflow Management

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to a team of financial analysts, setting priorities and ensuring accountability across deliverables.
  • Balance workload across team members and ensure adherence to planning calendars, financial cycles, and project timelines.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for cross-departmental financial inputs, aligning with Sales, Operations, and other key functions.

Project & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage special projects such as system implementations, financial process improvements, and ad hoc business case analyses.
  • Maintain structured tracking systems and documentation to ensure transparency and follow-through on initiatives.
  • Develop and implement tools or templates to improve team efficiency and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.

Business Partnering & Communication

  • Build strong working relationships with business leaders to ensure financial strategies support operational execution.
  • Facilitate regular planning meetings, check-ins, and stakeholder updates to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Ensure timely and clear communication across stakeholders regarding deadlines, expectations, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial management, or business analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, ideally within a matrixed or cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize tasks, and lead through ambiguity.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint with a strong eye for visual clarity and storytelling in executive-level presentations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented, and proactive with a strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts financial expert and operational organizer—someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and teamwork. You have a passion for financial insight but also understand that the process, presentation, and people behind the numbers are just as important. You're comfortable leading in a changing environment, prioritizing on the fly, and supporting your team to succeed under pressure.
