We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and hands-on Billing Manager to lead the billing operations for a $1.3 billion revenue organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely generation of invoices across a complex billing landscape that includes multiple platforms and customized processes based on product types and customer-specific requirements.
This leader will be accountable for end-to-end billing execution, process standardization, and accuracy, while ensuring the team is equipped and trained to perform at a high level. A critical component of this role will be to document existing billing processes, build training materials and formal learning programs, and oversee the onboarding and development of team members. The Billing Manager will also be responsible for managing resource workload across the function, balancing efficiency with quality, and driving operational excellence.

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
· 7+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or order-to-cash processes, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
· Experience working with multiple billing platforms and handling complex customer billing scenarios.
· Demonstrated experience in process documentation, training development, and employee onboarding.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong understanding of billing principles, revenue recognition, and customer invoicing models (subscription, usage-based, project-based, etc.).
· Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and process accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in cross-functional settings.
· Experience in managing high-performing teams and balancing workloads across multiple priorities and deadlines.
