Job Summary


The QA Analyst is responsible for executing quality assurance and surveillance activities to ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement goals. This role involves conducting audits, analyzing data, identifying non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions across business functions. We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented QA Analyst to support our Quality Assurance and Surveillance team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process audits, surveillance checks, and quality inspections
  • Document findings and escalate non-conformances to relevant stakeholders
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action tracking
  • Monitor and report quality metrics (e.g., compliance rate, defect trends)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process adherence
  • Maintain audit records and contribute to QMS documentation
  • Assist in training and awareness programs related to quality standards

Dashboard Management

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive KPI dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Ensure dashboards reflect real-time or periodic updates of QA and surveillance metrics.

Data Collection & Analysis

  • Gather data from multiple sources including Jira, ServiceNow, internal databases, and QA tools.
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness before integration into dashboards.
  • Analyze trends and anomalies in QA and surveillance performance.

QA & Surveillance Metrics

Track key metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, surveillance alerts, compliance adherence, and resolution times.

  1. Defect Detection Rate (DDR)
  2. Corrective Action Closure Rate
  3. Compliance Rate
  4. First Pass Yield (FPY)

Reporting & Communication

  • Generate weekly/monthly reports and executive summaries based on dashboard insights.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and recommend actions based on data trends.
  • Support audit and compliance reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certification in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) – Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in QA, auditing, or surveillance roles
  • Proficiency in dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, QMS tools, and audit methodologies
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar QA/surveillance platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
