Job Summary:

A Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and automation of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management:
• • Architect and maintain cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud systems.
• Automation & CI/CD:
• • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• • Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Diagnose and resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Collaboration & Support:
• • Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices.
  • Provide support for deployment and production issues.
• Security & Compliance:
• • Apply best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Manage access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and networking protocols.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are a plus.
