Job Title: Billing Analyst I

Location: Remote


Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Billing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing billing data, ensuring accuracy in billing processes, and providing insights to improve financial operations. This role requires working with a 3rd party SaaS based biller. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in billing software.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve internal customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing data and processes.
  • Manage tickets submitted to internal and external support team.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update the billing systems and records for reporting.
  • Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and testing of billing policies and procedures.
  • Analyze billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update billing catalogs.
  • Provide support and training to internal resources on billing-related issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent job experience.
  • Proven experience in telephony billing support or a similar role.
  • Experienced in creating Test Plans and participating in UAT.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with telephony systems and billing software.
  • Previous experience in a customer support role.
