About the role

  • This is a supplemental opportunity for current and former CCO employees only.
  • This opportunity requires 10 hours/week.
  • The opportunity extends from November 1st, 2025 - October 31st, 2026
  • The opportunity has a $700 stipend (paid out monthly)

Purpose of the position: 

  • The College Team Coach provides relational support, strategic guidance, and ongoing training for College Ministry Teams (CMTs), Catalyst volunteers, or Student led ministries within a CCO ministry context. The coach helps each team clarify its vision, align with the CCO’s Campus Ministry Strategy (Five E’s), and develop sustainable rhythms for engaging and discipling college students in partnership with CCO staff or volunteers.

  • Experience: Current or Former CCO Employee.

Responsibilities
Coaching & Resourcing 
  • Meet regularly (monthly or bi-monthly) with each assigned CCO ministry leader utilizing CCO’s Coaching Template for setting and assessing progress toward specific ministry goals.
  • Guide CCO ministry leaders to contextualize and implement the CCO Camps Ministry Strategy and resources within their specific ministry context.
  • Offer encouragement, clarity and support that leads the ministry leader toward greater understanding of the role they play in fulfilling the mission of the CCO. 
  • Guide teams through goal-setting, ministry planning, and sustainable rhythms.
Training & Equipping 
  • Connect CCO ministry leaders to campus ministry resources that directly equip them to carry out a specific aspect of ministry. 
  • Where appropriate facilitate CCO training resources the will equip the CCO ministry leader or team to effectively apply a ministry tool in their context.
  • Promote attendance at CCO National and Regional events: Jubilee, Cultivate, Leadership Together, Better Together. Ensuring access to registration, available discounts, transformative opportunities, etc. 
Communication & Reporting 
  • Keep and submit coaching log reports as assigned.
  • Reports to the National Director of Campus Ministry Resources.
  • Collaborates with Staff Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Regional Leaders as needed.

**CCO partnership positions use a shared funding model. Partnership institutions contribute a portion towards salary and total employment costs and CCO staff people are responsible to raise support for the remainder. This amount varies based on partnership and salary needs.**
