About the role
- This position is hybrid, with an option to work remotely.
- This is a full-time position (40 hours weekly).
Purpose of the position:
- The National Director of Spiritual Formation will actively foster the spiritual formation of staff members, integrate deeper organizational rhythms of spiritual practice, and engage CCO’s partner churches to provide spiritual formation leadership and resources. This leader will facilitate spiritual leadership for retreats, staff gatherings, and pastoral care within the organization. This role will collaborate with other leaders across the organization to equip our staff, partners, and CCO regions in spiritual formation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
- Spiritual formation training and certification are preferred.
- Spiritual direction training and certification are preferred.
- Experience:
- 5 years of ministry experience is required
- At least 3 years of campus ministry and management experience is preferred.
- Training related to spiritual and emotional support
- Support-raising experience preferred.
Job Description:
- Provides leadership in developing and implementing spiritual formation programs that support staff members and help nurture further growth for students.
- Along with executive leadership, assists in developing long-term vision and strategy for integrating spiritual formation into the organization’s core values and mission.
- Offers pastoral guidance and presence to staff members, offering support in times of need or crisis.
- Delivers training and resources related to student crisis management.
