Purpose of the position: 

  • This part-time position (18 hours / week) provides financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate posting of contributions to the CCO’s mission.

Qualifications/Requirements


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping and office administration. 

Skill Set 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organizational and administrative skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Efficient with various software systems. 
  • Collaborates with teams.
  • Manages competing priorities and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Displays initiative and can work independently.
  • Committed to keeping financial information confidential.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Enjoys communicating with a variety of individuals inside and outside the organization.

Spiritual Health

  • Cultivate growth through regular worship in a local church, prayer, Scripture study, and other spiritual disciplines.

Personal Conduct

  • Displays personal conduct consistent with CCO Statement of Faith, Core Values, and the CCO employee handbook.

Professional Growth

  • Plan and pursue professional development opportunities approved by the department lead.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to type at least 30 words-per-minute.

Job Description


Financial & Administrative 

  • Reliably follow established procedures for processing donations. 
  • Efficiently enter donation data into a donor database.
  • Considerately communicate by email and phone with donors and staff. 
  • Consistently maintain organized files and documentation. 
  • Perform other administrative tasks, as needed. 

Other Projects & Duties Assigned 

  • Pray regularly and frequently for the ministry of the CCO.
  • Exceed 100% of support raising ministry goals
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned
