Center for New Beginnings, INC offers in-clinic, in-home, or school-based therapy in the following counties: Richmond, Columbia, Burke, Jenkins, Screven, and Jefferson. We have therapists who are primarily clinic, both in-home and clinic, as well as some who commute between counties to serve our clients.  We are looking for therapists with availability in the counties listed above and we are interested in expanding should staffing arise. We have three locations in Waynesboro GA (Main Clinic), Evans GA (North Clinic), and Millen GA (South Clinic).

Responsibilities:

  • Assess children using ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland and QABF, MAS, FAST and Functional Behavior Assessment as needed.
  • Maintain caseload of clients: number of clients vary based on number of required billable hours
  • Write a comprehensive Behavior Plan for each child assessed if needed.
  • Develop and implement skills acquisition programs
  • Develop and implement social skills programs
  • Create recommendations for comprehensive services.
  • Provide consultation and training for parents, teachers, and community members.
  • Train, coach and facilitate treatment teams; program monitoring, etc.
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members and members of the child’s education environment regarding patients’ progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions as appropriate.
  • Provide training/supervision to BCBA students as assigned.
  • Participate in education and training programs for patients, families, or community groups.

Client Caseload Specific:

  • Assessment
  • Treatment planning/update
  • Program book and data sheet creation/updating
  • Parent Training
  • Supervision of clients, RBTs & BT
  • Assigning number of monthly hours of client/therapist
  • Check session Notes in Coordination with Senior Lead

Staff Specific:

  • Monthly evaluation of staff using pre-made form
  • Assist in monthly assigned clinic meetings
  • Edit treatment plans of peer BCBA
  • Meet monthly with BCBA team
  • Assist in RBT/BT/NET all staff trainings

Position Requirements:

  • Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. Individuals who have recently completed their Master's Degree and/or are waiting to take the BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis within our tier system.
  • Maintain CEU requirement and BCBA credential with Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB).
  • Obtain and maintain a good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided.
  • Training and clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to children and families. Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders preferred.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate diagnosis, treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of treatment programs.


The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Remote (Waynesboro, Georgia, US))
