About the role
This position is for a Systems Administrator in Boulder, CO. You will be working closely with a talented team to manage, secure and optimize the IT infrastructure for our DoD clients. You will also have the opportunity to grow and sharpen your skills with other talented members of Centil.
As a Sys Admin at Centil, your expertise and commitment to excellence will be vital in maintaining the reliability and performance of critical systems that support the nation's defense.
What you'll do
Provide Linux, RHEL system administration support. Participate in software version testing and evaluation and provide feedback to the development and test/ops community. Assist Configuration Management in software upgrades and changes.
Monitors and corrects system performance issues.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the NextGen OPIR Ground Solution.
Shepherds development activities through the life cycle process by applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools.
Corrects program errors, recommends program improvements, prepares operating procedures/instructions and compiles documentation of program development.
Analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
DoD Secret clearance minimum
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent training/job experience is also acceptable)
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in supporting DoD or government customers.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and network administration.
Familiarity with DoD security regulations and frameworks, such as RMF (Risk Management Framework).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

Depending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $115,000 and $165,000 per year.
