About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our team. This critical role supports the seamless, reliable operation of network services and components essential to the United States Space Force’s (USSF) meshONE-T mission. As a NOC Technician, your primary responsibility will be to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the integrity of the meshONE-T mission's network infrastructure. Your work will contribute directly to the successful execution of the USSF's meshONE capability, which encompasses all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.


This position operates on a shift-based schedule to provide continuous operational coverage. You will be on the front lines, responding to incidents, analyzing network performance, and collaborating with teams to ensure network resilience and stability across the ground components of the broader meshONE capability. You will deliver end-to-end network solutions that support United States Air Force, USSF missions, and associated mission partners.


This position is currently located in Colorado Springs. Some travel throughout the Colorado Front Range Area (Colorado Springs to Boulder) is expected.



What you'll do

  • Network Monitoring
    • Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and health using advanced monitoring tools and systems.
    • Detect, assess, and respond to alerts, outages, and other network-related incidents in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues including connectivity problems, latency, and service interruptions.
    • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal network performance and stability.
    • Monitor and resolve breaches of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to meet or exceed performance standards.
  • Incident Response
    • Respond promptly to network incidents in accordance with established protocols, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to the implementation of corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain detailed and accurate records of network incidents, maintenance activities, and configuration changes.
    • Generate and present network performance and incident reports to management.
    • Update and maintain operational documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay informed on evolving trends and engage in continuous professional development to ensure the highest level of expertise.


Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen with Top Secret/SCI Eligible Clearance
  • Willingness and ability to perform rotational shift work, supporting 24x7 NOC operations
  • 3 or more years Network Operations Center experience
  • IAT Level I – Security+ CE
  • IP experience (to include sub-netting and routing)
  • Experience with ITSM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, leadership, and mission partners


Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

  • Any of the following certifications: CCNA, CND, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, Network+, GSEC
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with any of the following monitoring tools: nGenius, NetBrain, Elastic, or SolarWinds
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or other Federal contract

  • DoD Secret or higher clearance is preferred.  All applicants must be US citizens eligible for a US Government security clearance


Expected Salary Range


Depending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $50,000 and $70,000 per year.

We consider many factors when determining salaries including, but are not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education, training, certifications, key skills, and mission/customer familiarity. We combine these factors with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.
