More than 50% of all technology is spent outside of centralized IT organizations. Individual business units are taking their technology destiny into their own hands, and we enable that. End user onboarded applications are behind more than one third of all cybersecurity hacks. We provide the solution to manage that through enabling users to select their own technology and we automatically protect those applications.
We seek an experienced Implementation Engineer to lead customers through a successful onboarding journey. In this critical role, you’ll act as the primary technical lead during implementation, working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Customer Solutions to drive rapid time to value.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding & Implementation
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for new customer implementations
- Lead discovery sessions to gather system architecture and integration requirements
- Configure and deploy Cerby in alignment with customer environments and objectives
- Support migration, environment setup, and initial enablement and training
Technical Integration & Advisory
- Guide integration with identity solutions such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, and CyberArk
- Assist in configuring disconnected app workflows and custom application integrations
- Apply IAM best practices, including ZeroTrust principles and least privilege access
- Troubleshoot integration issues involving APIs, authentication, and configuration.
Customer Enablement & Success
- Ensure customers are empowered to adopt and manage the Cerby platform post-onboarding
- Build strong relationships by providing clear, timely, and proactive communication.
- Provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams based on customer input.
Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain onboarding resources: implementation guides, FAQs, and training materials
- Deliver tailored training sessions (virtual or in-person)
- Contribute to improving onboarding processes and playbooks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, or customer engineering roles
- Prior experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Cybersecurity space
- Hands-on experience with IdP, IGA, or PAM solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk, SailPoint)
- Proficiency with REST APIs, system integrations, and troubleshooting tools
- Familiarity with SSO, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and account lifecycle management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with scripting or light coding (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth SaaS environment
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001
