Who is Certintell?
Founded in 2014, Certintell is a Care Management company that offers programs to Medicare, Medicaid, and Dual-eligible patients in partnership with medical clinics, pharmacies, and insurance providers. Certintell acts as a virtual care clinic by providing programs that improve access to care, reduce the cost burden of chronically ill patients, increase revenues to the Health Center, and can improve overall Value-based Payments (VBP) and other relevant outcome-driven ratings (e.g. HEDIS).

The Pediatric and Adolescent Transformative Health (PATH) Clinic is a 12-member collaborative that provides innovative structural mental health services to children, adolescents, and families on the west and southwest sides of Chicago. PATH is seeking a licensed Pediatric Psychiatrist to join our collaborative healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pediatric mental health issues and will be committed delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary setting.
*This position requires occasional travel to clinics*
Essential Functions (list in order of importance including measures)
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations of patients to develop an appropriate treatment and/or referral.
- Provide medical management.
- Assess patients' need for ancillary services (e.g. lab work, EEG, etc.) and refer as appropriate to ensure proper monitoring of the patient's medical response to medication.
- Participates as member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing clinical input to ensure clinically appropriate and timely treatment plans and updates.
- Collaborates with other Psychiatry programs and referral resources to ensure coordination in patient care.
- Participates in planning, collecting data and interpreting results for Quality reviews.
- Documents clinical treatment according to Quality guidelines
- Participates in systematic program evaluation results.
- Attends staff meetings; consults with and serves as a liaison with community agencies, schools, and other mental health programs and services to evaluate community health needs and services
Marginal Functions (list in order of importance)
- Assumes responsibility for knowing and maintaining established hospital and departmental objectives, policies/procedures including general sanitation, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Participates in performance activities including problem identification, data collection, solution selection, implementation and evaluation. Also assists in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies as appropriate.
- Participates in staff meetings and other inservices, meetings or committees as required.
General Job Requirements
- Valid Illinois medical license in good standing
- Completion of three (3) years of graduate training in psychiatry in a program approved by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association. Certification in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated competence in providing psychiatric diagnostic and treatment services to individuals with mental health issues.
- Excellent administrative, interpersonal, customer service, management, clinical judgment and quality assessment skills.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Minimum Requirements)
- EDUCATION: 7 or more yrs of education leading to a Doctorate
- EXPERIENCE : More than one year up to three years
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $115.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
