About the role

  • This position provides flexible support to warehouse operations, with primary responsibility for operating a route truck up to three days per week, to complete deliveries. On non-driving days, this role supports warehouse functions including tire mounting, cycle counts, and shipping/receiving. The Warehouse Driver & Support Technician helps relieve workload pressures on current staff, improve efficiency, and support safe, timely, and accurate operations.

What you'll do

  • Safely and efficiently operate a route truck for deliveries, up to three days per week (10-hour shifts)
  • Assist in warehouse and shop operations when not driving, including but not limited to:
    • Tire mounting and shop support.
    • Conducting cycle counts and ensuring inventory accuracy.
    • Supporting shipping and receiving activities.
  • Provide backup coverage for city route truck operations as needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards, policies, and DOT regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in warehouse, delivery, or shop operations preferred.
  • Ability to mount tires or willingness to be trained.
  • Computer skills preferred (Inventory Software; Microsoft Office).


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy tires and equipment as part of warehouse and delivery responsibilities.
