About the role
Manage all location staff including coordinating schedules and ensuring all work is completed for customers on time and in full.
- Review training needs and arranges for training sessions as appropriate. Ensure new hire training is comprehensive.
- Manage team member performance, identification of possible disciplinary issues and overall supervision.
- Coach team members to improve performance and motivate team members by identifying weaknesses and helping them through customized coaching.
- Conduct weekly team meetings including toolbox talks, CSR issues, fulfilment issues, projected workload.
- Performance management of all location staff
- Plan workload and utilize resources to ensure CRD met by scheduling staff as needed.
Responsible for meeting key performance goals.
- Ensure all invoices are billed out in a timely manner.
- Monitor expenses, looking for ways to reduce spending where viable.
- Ensure agreed upon KPI’s are achieved weekly, monthly, and annually.
Responsible for ensuring finance responsibilities for the location are completed according to process.
- Ensure that purchase orders for inventory are created the day the inventory is ordered.
- Ensure that inventory is received against purchase orders on the day the inventory is received.
- Assist in collection of past due customer accounts.
Responsible for storage of all inventories including shop supplies, tires, tubes, etc.
- Ensure consistent labelling of product.
- Ensure cycle counts are completed.
- Ensure product storage maintains the FIFO policy.
- Ensure product checked in accurately and timely.
Responsible for all aspects of safety at location:
- Ensure weekly toolbox talks are completed.
- Ensure weekly safety walks are completed and facility is OSHA compliant.
- Complete any accident investigation reports.
- Ensure near miss forms are completed weekly for incidents.
- Complete any insurance audits
