This role sits at the center of Scientific Communications, coordinating publications, medical information, congress materials, and internal data alignment. Essential Functions

  • In this role, you will manage the execution of CG Oncology’s scientific publications and external communications, partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, HEOR, and Market Access.
  • You’ll guide end-to-end publication workflows, ensure high-quality scientific materials, manage internal/external reviews, and maintain the systems that keep our scientific communication ecosystem running with precision.
  • You’ll also contribute scientific content, support medical information development, coordinate IIT communication, and ensure compliant dissemination of our emerging data.
  • Your work will help elevate CG Oncology’s scientific voice across congresses, publications, and stakeholder interactions.

  • High-quality abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and slide decks delivered on time and aligned to CG Oncology’s scientific strategy
  • Smooth orchestration of internal publication review committees and external author interactions
  • A well-organized scientific materials repository that becomes the hub for our data, lexicon, and communications
  • Accurate, compliant medical information resources that strengthen our HCP engagement
  • Clear, efficient workflows that elevate the entire Scientific Communications function
  • Strong cross-functional relationships across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and HEOR

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in scientific communications, medical writing, or medical affairs
  • Strong publication planning experience with abstracts, manuscripts, and congress materials
  • Proficiency with scientific writing, literature evaluation, and compliant scientific communication
  • Experience with medical information resources (SRLs, FAQs, PIE, AMCP dossiers)
  • Familiarity with oncology, immunology, or urology
  • Comfort working in a high-growth biotech environment with evolving priorities

The pay range for this role is:

119,000 - 140,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
