About the Job


Checkfront is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our fast-growing team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate is passionate about the tour, activity and experience industries, and eager to jump into a dynamic customer facing role. You will be responsible for generating new business revenue and playing a critical part in the growth of our business. We are seeking individuals who are naturally comfortable and energized by developing new relationships, while having a basic understanding of software systems.

Please note this position is an in-person role for our work location in Austin, Texas.



Some tasks you’ll be taking on

  • Conduct outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, in person meetings and industry networking
  • Ability to think on your feet, handle objections and find creative solutions for unique client needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of Checkfront’s software as it relates to their specific business case
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers
  • Understand clients’ needs and demonstrate how Checkfront’s software solutions can meet their business requirements
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in Hubspot



Ideally, you should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in software or technology
  • Basic understanding of software and its applications in business
  • Eager to learn, energized by customer interaction
  • Natural comfort initiating conversation and leading presentations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
